CM’s warning

LAHORE, Sept 6: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed members of national and provincial assemblies to visit government hospitals and review the facilities being provided to dengue patients, says a handout.

Listening to complaints of people regarding dengue virus at Wasa Headquarters, Gulberg, on Tuesday, he warned that medical superintendents and other responsible officials of those hospitals would be suspended where dengue patients would not be provided proper treatment facilities.

He said the Punjab government was utilising all available resources for the eradication of dengue virus, but the cooperation of people was also necessary in this regard.
