ISLAMABAD: Speaker of National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza on Wednesday urged all the members of civil society, political figures, and international community to come forward for providing relief to rain and flood affected people.

The Speaker National Assembly said the government is making all possible measures to provide relief to rain and flood affected people of Sindh.

She said that heavy rain water is flowing towards Badin district and due to this reason, the people of the area are facing great difficulty.

She said that the population in Badin district is nearly 18,00,000. She added that the entire area is covered by rain water.

Dr. Fehmida Mirza appealed Non-governmental Organizations, civil society, political forces, and philanthropists to come forward and help all those who have been affected.
