ISLAMABAD, Oct 3: A suspect was taken into custody while taking snaps of Federal Investigation Agency Headquarters here on Monday, sources told Dawn.

The sources said that the suspect was spotted by the security personnel deployed around the FIA headquarters when he was shooting the building. The personnel approached him and took him in their custody.

Later he was handed over to Special Investigation Unit of FIA for further interrogation. During the act, the suspect was identified as Masir Ali, a native of Kalar Saydean.

His camera was thoroughly checked in which various photos of the headquarters were found. Later the man was handed over to capital police for further investigation and verifying his status.

The police when contacted said that the man was not in the police custody and he might be booked by SIU under official secrete act.

Likewise, another man was taken into custody by FIA when he entered the headquarters with a fake appointment letter against the post of driver.

The man was identified as Karam Nawaz, a resident of Kotli Satian.

He came over the headquarters and succeeded to enter the building after showing the appointment letter to security personnel at main gate.

Later, he was spotted while wandering inside the premises by officials who called the security personnel to take him in their custody.

Later he was also handed over to SIU for interrogation. During interrogation he produced the appointment letter for the post of driver in FIA on its letterhead. During examination the letter was found forged.

The sources said that it was yet to be ascertained that he was defrauded by someone, by minting money from him against job in the FIA, or he had some intentions to enter the building with the help of the fake letter.
