KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has called eight MPAs who were actively supporting Zulfikar Mirza for a meeting with him today, DawnNews reported.
The eight provincial lawmakers were actively supporting the former interior minister of Sindh who was lashing against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the ally of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Confirming the call for meeting, the lawmakers said that Mr Shah was the president of PPP’s Sindh chapter and they would positively respond to the summons.
Earlier on Monday, Mr Mirza called on Pakistan Muslim League – Functional chief Pir Pagara at Kingri House and claimed that those lawmakers who felt for the interest of Sindh would not let the expected local bodies bill be approved by the Sindh Assembly.
