KARACHI, Oct 13: The third edition of Ian Fyfe Memorial Inter-school T20 colour-kit will start from Saturday at the KGA Gymkhana Ground with 10 teams in fray for honours.

Defending champions City School PAF Chapter will face Nixor School in the opening match of the tournament at 2:30pm.

Valentine Gonsalves, president of the Karachi Goan Association (KGA), will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony, according to tournament coordinator Andre C. Bernard.

The event is being held in memory of Ian Fyfe, sports reporter of Dawn who died in August 2005 following complications after a car accident. The following schools are competing:

Group ‘A’: City School PAF Chapter, Nixor School, The Lyceum School, Foundation Public School, Meritorious Science School. Group ‘B’: Southshore School, St Paul’s High School, Bay View High School, St Michael’s Convent School.
