Throngs of devotees visit the Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine in Karachi every day. Climbing up steep stairs they reach their destination, Shah Ghazi’s grave. Mumbling prayers under their breaths, sitting in corners crossed-legged reciting, or simply observing others, there are people from all walks of life visiting the mazar. Hussain Afzal goes into this green and blue structure standing high by the coast to capture the feel of the shrine. -Photos Hussain Afzal.
