KARACHI, Oct 31: Five ships carrying rock phosphate, containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Nine ships including Sea Wave to load cement, Salis, APL Brisbane and Lindanvia with containers, Sea Lion and Le Rong with general cargo and Ardmore Sea Farer and Chemway Arrow, both oil tankers, were berthed during the last two days after the departure of over a dozen vessels.

The departing ships were led by OCCL Dalian, Kota Arif, OEL Trust, Y.M. Fuzhou, Emerald Coral, Fu Lan Hai, Caribe Maiden, Liberty Pride, Emirates Akbir, APL Sharjah, Ital Onore and Resolve, while Admore Sea Farer, Niazr-M, Sea Lion, Positano, Chemway Arrow, Great Hope and Lindavia are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 220,000 tons comprising 103,000 tons of export cargo and 118,000 tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Multan with 16,500 tons of rock phosphate, Hansa Constitution and President Polk with containers and Lahore with crude oil.
