ISLAMABAD, Nov 21: The prices of all petroleum products, except motor spirit (petrol), are likely to increase by 6-7 per cent during the monthly revision due to be made on Nov 30, according to sources.

Calculations show the price of high speed diesel is expected to go up by about Rs6 per litre. Kerosene and high octane blending component (HOBC) will become costlier by Rs5 and Rs7, respectively.

The diesel price is likely to touch the Rs100 mark. The HOBC price will be Rs112 per litre.

The price of petrol is estimated to decrease by about Rs5 to about Rs82 per litre.

However, final figures will be calculated after the arrival in Pakistan of ships carrying petroleum products and depending on the government's decision about increasing margin of dealers and marketing companies.
