ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has cancelled his engagements in Multan and is returning to Islamabad on Saturday evening.

He has summoned a meeting of the cabinet’s defence committee on Saturday evening to formulate a response of the government in the aftermath of the Mohmand agency incident.

According to a PM House spokesperson, the prime minister would also take the national leadership in confidence on the issue.

The spokesperson said Prime Minister Gilani cut short his three day visit to Multan and was returning to Islamabad this evening.
