KARACHI, Nov 28: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered an inquiry into the firing and killing of two scouts at the Numaish intersection on Sunday and said stern action would be taken against those found involved in the incident.
Presiding over a high-level meting at the CM House on Monday, the chief minister said Muharram was a very sensitive month and anti-social and anti-state elements and criminals could try to disturb the peace.
The chief minister asked the authorities if permission was granted for a rally by a sectarian organisation, and why it was allowed to take an officially prohibited route.
Mr Shah said the administration would remain impartial and take sides with no sect, group or party while conducting its inquiry and initiating action against culprits.
