District Tharparkar is known to have the lowest Human Development Index of all 23 districts of Sindh. With an estimated population of almost 1.3 million people, it is spread over an area of about 20,000 square kilometers and constitutes a major part of the Thar desert.
The remote, almost inaccessible settlements spread over the desert, provide little access to education for children, who are mostly employed in child labour.
In this video, Dawn.com takes a trip through the desert to take a look at some of the issues face by children and families and the process of bringing education to this region.

In my opinion, you showed a good start by the locals. If proper and regular funding is carried out then this will yield, Insha Allah, a good response here and hereafter. This funding may be made by making a NGO to be funded by DAWN publishers or support with the philonthropists and sincere public people. Allah SWT Bless you people. Akhlaq Ahmed Khan
