HYDERABAD, Dec 4: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved a special grant of Rs200 million for the development of Sehwan town and the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.

This was stated by MNA from Jamshoro, Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur, while speaking at an open katchehry in Jamshoro. He said that he had met with the president and submitted a development package for repair and beautification of the shrine, water supply and sewerage schemes for the town.

He said after the approval of these schemes, Rs200 million would be spent on repair and beautification of the shrine and development of the town.  He said the construction of an overhead bridge at Kotri railway crossing had been postponed due to some differences between the federal and provincial departments. —Bureau Report
