PESHAWAR: Security forces bombarded militant hide-outs in the Orakzai tribal area on Thursday, killing 16 militants and wounding 10 others, DawnNews reported.
According to security sources, during the on-going operation against the militants in the Orakzai tribal area, Akwan Kot, Chappar and Bal Ras areas were targetted by jet planes for about two hours.
Yesterday in the area Kagu Qamar of Orakzai agency, militants attacked the security forces, as a result of which 22 security officers including a major were injured.
