LAHORE, Jan 6: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) president Qasim Zia has also announced himself as candidate for the post of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) president, being the third candidature for the elections scheduled to be held in Lahore on Feb 4.
Earlier, incumbent POA president Lt Gen (retd) Arif Hasan and Major Gen (retd) Akram Sahi had announced themselves as candidates for the post.
It is the first time that such a good number of candidates are in the run.—Sports Reporter
