ISLAMABAD: The commission investigating the murder of journalist Saleem Shahzad has completed its report and is likely present it to the government on Tuesday.

President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists and a member of the probe commission Pervez Shaukat told APP that the commission had finalised its report in six months time and after interviewing 41 individuals.

He said the government had assured that it would take action against those responsible in accordance with the findings of the commission.

Shaukat said the report also included PFUJ recommendations for the journalist community and financial assistance to Shahzad's family.
