LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 21: MNA Humayun Saifullah Khan has said the provincial government has approved upgradation of government high school for boys in Bachkan Ahmadzai village to higher secondary level.

This he said while talking to a delegation, said a press release issued here on Saturday.

The delegation headed by former nazim Mohammad Idrees Khan apprised the lawmaker about the problems faced by the residents of Ahmadzai village.

Mr Saifullah said the government had allocated Rs17.5 million to launch work on the project immediately. He maintained that the communication and works department had floated tenders of the school's upgradation project in newspapers and after fulfilling formalities of tendering process work would start on it without any further delay.He said he was in constant contact with the authorities concerned to also get approval of the project of installation of a separate power feeder for the village.—Correspondent
