KARACHI, Jan 24: The Rabiul Awwal moon has been sighted and the first of Rabiul Awwal will be on Wednesday (Jan 25).

Announcing the sighting of the moon after presiding over a meeting of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee here on Tuesday, its chairman Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman said the crescent had been sighted and Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) would be celebrated on Feb 5.

He prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country and the people of Pakistan.—APP
