ISLAMABAD: Negotiations between the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Muslim League (Like-minded) to form an alliance have finally succeeded, sources told DawnNews on Saturday.

According to the sources, documents for the agreement have been given final shape, while the two parties are likely to formally announce their electoral alliance in the near future.

The sources also said that the PML (Like-minded) group had decided retain their separate political identity while entering into the electoral alliance with the PML-N.

Consultations between both parties regarding Senate elections have also been completed in which the PML-N decided to concede a Senate seat to their new allies, they said.
