Speaker Aslam Bhootani who chaired the session suspended the business of the house after offering Fateha for the deceased and allowed the resolution to be debated.

Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Syed Ehsan Shah, Maulvi Sarwar Musakhel, Nasreen Khetran, Habibur Rehman, Jaffar Mandokhel, Abdul Khaliq Bashardost, Nasir Jamali, Shah Nawaz Marri, Ismail Gujar, Jan Ali Chengazi, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Asim Kurd, Ghulam Jan, Amanullah Notezai and Basant Lal Gulshan termed the incident an inhuman act.

They criticised the statement of police for dubbing the incident as a family dispute and said that how could police without investigation concluded that the killing was a family dispute.
