LAHORE, Feb 1: US Commercial Consular Brian McCleary assured of US help to overcome problems being faced by Pakistan in various sectors specially energy shortage.Speaking at a ceremony hosted in his honour by the Saarc Chamber Vice President Iftikhar Ali Malik he said that US was considering to give free market access to Pakistani merchandise in US markets.

He said that USA embassy was may arrange B to B meetings for businessmen who were planning to visit to USA in a trade delegation being planned by the LCCI. Besides meetings with the policy makers and chambers could also be lined up.

Iftikhar Ali Malik welcomed and said that Pakistan wants peace and prosperity and more trade and not aid. He sought US help to resolve fuel shortages and easy accesses to US market.

The meeting was attended among others by Shahzada Alam Monno, Skindar Mustafa Khan, Mian Mohammad Ashraf and Mian Misbah ur Rehman.—APP
