Book fair opens

LAHORE, Feb 3: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif opened on Friday the 26th Lahore International Book Fair-2012 at Expo Centre.

The five-day event -- Books for Peace: Education for All – features 215 local and 25 foreign publishers' stalls, Lahore International Book Fair Trust (LIBFT) Chairman Zubair Saeed said.

Eminent tennis star Aisamul Haq Qureshi's book 'Lessons Learnt from the Tennis Tour' was also displayed at the stall. Star's wife signed her husband's book.

Foreign publishers are from Turkey, India and the United States. - Staff Reporter
