THIS is with reference to the letter ‘Balochistan: peace through dialogue’ (Jan 13). The situation in Balochistan should be handled by politicians. Recruitment of the Baloch in the army is no solution to turn around the situation.

The only way to bring the Baloch on the national mainstream is to protect their rights.

Launching a national human rights commission is not sufficient to solve the critical situation, but it should be made to work.
