LAHORE, Feb 4: Saddar division police claim to have arrested 145 criminals, including proclaimed offenders, court absconders, robbers, drug-peddlers, gamblers and people possessing illegal weapons, during a five-week crackdown.
According to Saddar SP (Operations) Shoaib Khurram Janbaz, the police seized 5kg hashish, 500gm heroin, 151 bottles of liquor, 11 pistols, a riffle and dozens of cartridges and bullets from criminals.
He said three foreigners were also arrested in connection with narcotics and liquor. — Staff Reporter
