QUETTA: A powerful blast late on Tuesday outside a local bank in Quetta’s Liaquat Bazar injured a security guard and damaged nearby buildings, DawnNews reported.

The blast, at Junction Roundabout between Prince Road and Liaquat Bazar, was loud enough to be heard from miles.

According to DIG operations Nazir Kurd, around 10 kilograms of explosive material was used in the blast, which damaged several vehicles as well.
