QUETTA, Feb 11: The Levies Force has got registered a case against eight personnel of the Frontier Corps for allegedly killing two persons in a shooting last week on demonstrators protesting the murder of the wife and daughter of MPA Mir Bakhtiar Khan Domki in Karachi.
The two women were shot dead, along with their driver, two weeks ago while they were returning home after attending a marriage ceremony.
The people of Bakhtairabad Domki had staged a demonstration last Saturday to protest the killing, blocking the Quetta-Sukkur National Highway.
Levies named eight FC men as accused on a written complaint lodged by Imam Bakhsh Domki, uncle of Ahmed Khan, one of the two men shot dead.
“Yes, an FIR has been registered against eight security personnel of Frontier Corps,” a senior official of levies in Bakhtairabad said.
Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani had already ordered a judicial inquiry into the killing.
The incident has been widely condemned at the national level with the Senate witnessing a walkout by enraged members and the Supreme Court taking notice.
