KARACHI: At least seven persons, including a couple and two children, were killed and over half a dozen others injured when a speeding bus carrying wedding guests rammed into a concrete and metal structure in Korangi area of the city, police said. They said the bus returning from a wedding ceremony in Korangi met the deadly accident when the driver did not see the structure that barred vehicles of more than eight feet high from going forward.

The SHO of Korangi police station said the driver did not see the structure because of low visibility. The people sitting in the front portion of the vehicle sustained serious injuries. It took almost half an hour to bring all the bodies and inured people out.
