ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Thursday announced to withdraw all the cases against the aggrieved Baloch leaders, DawnNews reported.

Malik invited the Baloch leaders settled abroad to resolve the Balochistan issue by having a dialogue.

He also offered to withdraw cases registered against Brahamdagh Bugti and Harbiyar Marri.

The federal miniter also clarified that Frontier Corps (FC) will have to take a permit from District Coordination office (DCO) before launching any operation in Balochistan.

According to the statement issued by the state television, Malik held ‘foreign elements’ responsible for the deteriorating situation of Balochistan.

“Fifteen thousand people would be inducted in the labor force from Balochistan… Orders for the recruitment have already been issued from the prime minister’s and the president’s office.” interior minister added.

He further said that young Baloch residents would be inducted in the internship programs.

Talking to Dawn News, Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) leader Jameel Bugti said that everyone knows that cases in Pakistan are registered in vengeance.

Bugti regarded Malik’s statements as old and insincere tactic of the government.
