KARACHI: Two ships to load rice and containers were berthed during the last 24 hours, said PQA press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, two more ships carrying containers and iron ore also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Reunion, Florida-II, Lion, Arriah-I, Ever Shining and Karachi, were occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, urea, coal and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 107,407 tons comprising 76,443 tons of import and 30,964 tons of export was handled.

Reunion and Ever Shining sailed out.
