CHAMAN, March 3: The Levies Force recovered a big cache of explosives on Saturday from a timber-laden truck after it overturned.

The catch yielded bombs, landmines, three anti-aircraft guns, bomb-making material and wireless sets.

According to Levies officials, the truck was going to Quetta when its tie rod snapped.

The driver and the cleaner escaped after the truck overturned.

Security agencies cordoned off the area and started an operation to catch the driver and the cleaner.

The weapons and explosives material were taken under the control of police.—APP
