MIRPURKHAS: Chairman of the Railway Workers Union Manzoor Ahmed Razi has criticised the running of Shalimar Express and Business Train on contract system.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said Pakistan Railways itself should run the trains.

He said the “save railways movement” would continue and a demonstration would be held on March 20 in Lahore to press the government to accept their demands.

All unions of railway workers will join the protest.

He said outstanding dues of retired employees and widows had not been paid over the past 15 months.
