KARACHI, March 28: A delegation of the Jamaat-i-Islami called on provincial election commissioner Sona Khan Baloch on Wednesday and informed him of “massive discrepancies” in electoral rolls.

The JI delegation headed by Karachi chief Muhammad Hussain Mehanti informed Mr Baloch about what were called 1.5 million mistakes and bogus entries in the voters' lists.

Mr Mehanti demanded that all voters' lists be made on the basis of addresses provided on national identity cards.

He asked the election commissioner to expose culprits involved in the tampering of voters' lists.—PPI
