Man dies on road

MANSEHRA, March 30: A man was killed while two others sustained critical injuries after being run over by a pickup in Balakot on Friday.

The pickup was on its way to Balakot from Sanger when it developed a fault and went out of control of the driver and ran over the three pedestrians. As a result, Mohammad Iqbal was killed on the spot, while Abdul Sattar and his son Abu Bakar sustained critical injuries. They were taken to the civil hospital in Balakot. The Balakot police have registered a case.—Correspondent
