Gilani approves retirement of five army officers

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on the recommendation of the Chief of Army Staff, has approved the retirement of five general officers from the army on completion of their tenure.

The Prime Minister approved the retirement of Lt Gen Sardar Mahmood Ali Khan, HI (M), Punjab, Maj Gen Noor Hussain, HI (M) S. Bt. Baloch, Maj Gen Syed Shakeel Hussain, HI (M), Sitara-e-Esar, Baloch, Maj Gen Jehangir Khan HI (M), FF and Maj Gen Muhammad Shahid, HI (M), EME.
