This is interesting stuff. Iram Parveen Bilal is the name of Kareena Kapoor’s character in the film Agent Vinod which cannot be screened in Pakistan. Where did she get this name? Well, the truth is out. A few years back the director of Agent Vinod, Sriram Raghavan, bumped into this good-looking Pakistani girl at a film festival in Los Angeles. Her name was Iram Parveen Bilal and she was at the festival with her short film Josh. Yes, she directs films. Sriram R fell in love with her name and even told her that he might use it in one of his forthcoming films. And he did. Iram PB admits that the Indian helmer had said so, but she hadn’t the faintest notion he’d use the full name. Well, good for her. After all, it’s all in a name!
