ATTOCK, April 8: A man was killed while his nephew was seriously injured by his rivals over a land dispute in the jurisdiction of New Airport police station, Fatehjang.

Police said Mohammad Rafique and his nephew Mohammad Waqas were on their way home on Saturday evening when their two rivals namely Mohammad Suleman and his brother Mohammad Sultan allegedly attacked them with automatic weapons. As a result, Rafique died on the spot while his nephew sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital Fatehjang where his condition was said to be critical.

On complaint of the family, police have registered a case and started investigation.
