Raisani denies report about Hyarbyar house occupation
QUETTA: The Balochistan government and Haq-Na-Tawar Organisation have denied the Baloch National Voice’s claim that armed guards of Chief Minister Aslam Raisani and tribal elder Mir Shafiqur Rehman Mengal occupied the house in Quetta of Nawabzada Hyarbyar Marri, son of Khair Bakhsh Marri.
A spokesman for the chief minister termed the claim baseless and an attempt to misguide the people. He said on Wednesday that on the directives of the chief minister, the home secretary, Quetta commissioner and other officials visited the house and found no truth in the claim.
“No one has taken over the house of Hyarbyar Marri in Al-Mashriq Lane,” the two officials reported to the chief minister in written.
In a statement, Haq-Na-Tawar Organization termed the claim a baseless propaganda. “We have no desire to occupy the house of anybody.”
However, it said the government should take notice of activities in such houses and take them under its control.
