LAHORE, April 13: Nawankot police arrested on Friday a doctor after a Lahore High Court judge dismissed his bail petition in a rape case.
Earlier, the SP investigation told Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik it had been proved that accused doctor Imtiaz raped his dispenser ‘Z’ at his private clinic in Nawankot. He said the police had registered a case on the directions of the sessions court.
In the light of the SP’s statement, the judge dismissed the bail petition of the doctor and the police arrested him from outside the courtroom. — Staff Reporter
