KARACHI, April 13: The Nazeer Hussain University (NHU) would open its admission process in August and initially 1,000 students would be admitted, Tariq Mir, the president of the university, said on Friday.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the NHU, Mr Mir said the university, spread over an area of 15 acres, would be able to enroll 5,000 students after expansion.
The programmes being offered initially by the university pertain to faculties of engineering, architecture and business administration, he said, adding that hostel and sports facilities would be provided to the students.
