Recent sectarian tensions in Gilgit prompted many weekend demonstrations by Shia community of Canada. These protests rallies were held in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, London, Victoria, Surrey, Richmond, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Hamilton. In Toronto a big rally was held in front of the Pakistani consulate against the target killing of the Shia community members of Pakistan and terrorist activities that includes bomb blast on the holy places & processions of the Shia community in Pakistan.

It is a shame for people claim to provde justice, taking action against a slap. It is hopeless to find justice where political sides are being taken by the institutions providing justice.

There is just a lot of ignorance, not just outside of islam but inside of it. People have forgotten their true teaching, the reasons for our existence up till now. We are indulging ourselves in peril by complicating the simplicity of our religion. May God of mercy on the entire humanity.
Iran is lead by highly scholared Imams whereas in Pakistan most of the mosques are lead by illiterate moulvis who only spread haterdness and nothing more. So its important to have literate and qualified imams if we really wants to see a change in Pakistan

Muslims are a strange crowd.. When they are not killing the infidel, they are killing off anoyone that does not follow their version of religion. While we in the Sunni dominated countries like Pakistan and Suadi Arabia mistreat Shias and Ahmadis, the Iranians do the opposite to other Muslim sects amongst them. Has anyone considered tolerance and giving each other the liberty to choose who we want to follow or not?
