ISLAMABAD, April 21: Aamir Atlas Khan and Nasir Iqbal reached the final of the 10th Pakistan International Chief of Army Staff Squash Circuit-II tournament by winning their semi-finals at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Saturday.

In the day’s first fixture, Aamir defeated Farhan Zaman 3-1.

During the first game, Aamir played defensive shots while going 9-11 down against Farhan.

He, however, bounced back in the second game 13-11 and ensuring the other two with 11-9, 11-9.

Emerging squash player Nasir Iqbal stunned Danish Atlas Khan 11-9, 11-8, 11-8.

Nasir played aggressive shots against Danish and gave no room to his opponent.

In the Women International Squash Payers Association (WISPA) event, Zoya Khalid and Saima Shaukat will test their mettle in the final.

Zoya sidelined Rushna Mehboob 11-9, 13-11, 11-9 while Saima Shaukat defeated Amna Latif 11-3, 11-5, 11-4.

Men’s: Aamir Atlas Khan bt Farhan Zaman 9-11, 13-11, 11-9, 11-9; Nasir Iqbal bt Danish Atlas Khan 11-9, 11-8, 11-8.

Women’s: Zoya Khalid bt Rushna Mehboob 11-9, 13-11, 11-9; Saima Shaukat bt Amna Latif 11-3, 11-5, 11-4.
