THATTA: Karachi police led by SP CID Chaudhry Aslam raided the residence of a landlord Haji Nawaz Bikak in Thatta and arrested an allegedly wanted criminal Shahid Bikak and his accomplices here on Monday.

The raid-team, along with 25 armoured vehicles, cordoned off the area and conducted the operation.

They also arrested Shari Ali Bikak, Shahzad Bikak and Haider Ali Bikak. They also recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition, cash and other stolen articles.

According to police sources, Shahid Bikak and his accomplices were involved in heinous crimes including kidnapping for ransom and murders and were wanted in several cases.

Later, the raid-team left for Karachi.
