PPP leader killed in Lyari

KARACHI: A leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former Naib Nazim, Malik Mohammad Khan was shot dead at Aath Chowk while leading a protest on Thursday.

He was targeted by unidentified gunmen when he was leading a protest march against gang war in Lyari area which had culminated at Karachi Press Club.

The deceased was also City President of PPP PS-111 chapter. Speaker National Assembly Nisar Khuhro, while condemning the killing, said the PPP has lost an important member.
