LAHORE: Army won the National Boxing Championship with 75 points.

The decision was announced by the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) on Saturday.

Wapda having 70 points secured the second place while Air Force finished third with 65 points.

It is pertinent to mention that a controversy erupted over points due to which the technical committee could not give the result of a bout between Kadir Khan of Wapda and Nawaz Dad of Army in the 60kg category on Friday.

However, Kadir was declared the winner when the decision was announced later.
