ISLAMABAD, April 30: Kantar a subsidiary of British Global Company (WPP) has acquired majority shares of Pakistani leading market research company, Oasis Insights.

“The investment in Pakistan is a continuation of WPP’s strategy of developing its services in ‘fast-growing’ markets and sectors, and it will strengthen relationship with Oasis Insights,” said Thomas Puliyel, President of IMRB International (Kantar Group subsidiary).

One of the largest research agencies in Pakistan, Oasis Inshights, specialises in consumer research and works in areas such as new product development, category exploration and segmentation, advertising testing, brand health research and media research.
