KARACHI, May 3: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board has served a seven-day notice to the Pakistan Works Department asking it to pay around Rs442 million outstanding against it as water and sewerage dues.
In case of default, all connections provided to the PWD offices and employees would be severed, the notice said.
According to a KWSB statement, the department had failed to clear the dues despite the fact that the matter had been taken up with PWD officials several a times.—PPI
