Gamblers held

FATEHJANG, May 4: As many as eight alleged gamblers were arrested and Rs19,000 stake money was recovered from them by the city police on Friday.

According to the sources, on a tip-off, a police party headed by SHO Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar raided the gambling den in a locality near Chandni Chowk and arrested eight gamblers Sartaj Ali, Mohammad Fayyaz, Shaukat Ali, Abid Hussain, Badar Zaman, Riasat Ali, Fayyaz Ahmed and Liaquat Ali.

Meanwhile, a drug pusher Mohammad Daud was also arrested by the same police. —Correspondent
