KARACHI, May 9: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement strongly condemned on Wednesday the incidents of violence against teachers in different educational institutions in the city and demanded that the government bring the elements involved in such incidents to book.

The MQM coordination committee said that the use of unfair means in exams was very unfortunate and “miscreants belonging to a students’ group patronising the activity wanted to deprive students of education”.

It called upon the governor and the chief minister to look into the cases of use of unfair means and the use of violence by a group.
