HYDERABAD, May 10: An anti-terror court has issued notices to SP Chaudhry Aslam, Mariane Pearl, widow of US journalist Daniel Pearl, a security official of the US consulate in Karachi and an FBI agent in the Pearl kidnapping and murder case.

Mohammad Javed Alam, the judge, examined two prosecution witnesses, Iqbal Mehmood and Arif, during an in camera hearing.

According to defence counsel Naseeruddin Abro, none of the two private witnesses had testified against Hashim Shah, an accused who was arrested from Multan and now under trial.
