LAHORE, May 15: Organised Crime (CIA) police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested four people, including two Italian nationals, involved in cyber crime and three proclaimed offenders.

According to a handout, a CIA police team took Rafique, Yousaf, Farhan and Khurram Shahzad into custody in connection with cyber crime and handed them over to the Federal Investigation Agency.

Two of them carry Italian passports and have committed offences in Italy like making fake credit cards.

During preliminary interrogation, the suspects have confessed to committing fraud worth Rs4 million.

Another CIA team nabbed proclaimed offender Riasat Ali for a triple murder in Begum Kot, Shahdara. He was carrying Rs200,000 head money. Police also seized a weapon from the accused.

Another CIA team tracked down and arrested offenders Yaqoob and Ishaq who were wanted in a murder case in Sargodha and were fleeing Dubai from Lahore airport.

Police detained three members of Aslam gang involved in robberies and police encounters and seized from them Rs132,000, four cell phones and illegal weapons.
