KARACHI, May 17: The Karachi Electric Supply Company on Thursday removed more than 2,000 illegal connections in a Baldia Town area. A KESC spokesperson said that the KESC police and local police participated in the operation.

The consumers were in a default of around Rs13.9 million dues, the spokesperson claimed, adding that the recovery ratio in the area was merely 50 per cent.—Our Reporter
